The Rockaway Borough Board of Education holds two meetings each month while school is in session and one each month school is not in session. The work session of the board is held on the second Tuesday of the month while the regular session, where most votes and business is conducted, is held the third Tuesday of the month. All meetings are open to the public and time is allotted for public input at the regular session. The Board of Education is always interested in the thoughts and ideas of the citizens of Rockaway Borough. Citizens of Rockaway Borough and the public in general are encouraged to attend our meetings to learn more about our schools and school board. Board meetings are held in the Thomas Jefferson Middle School located at 95 East Main Street, Rockaway, NJ. Unless otherwise advertised all meetings begin at 7:30 pm. with work sessions held in the library and regular meetings in the cafeteria. The Rockaway Borough Board of Education is committed to providing students with quality programs and opportunities that prepare them for success.
